Find the Truth Onion Spell
What You’ll Need
3 pieces of Tiger’s Eye (blue is best, but traditional yellow will work)
A Needle
An Onion
A Cutting Board
A Sharp Knife
Leather Gloves
Blue Candle
When to Do This
This spell is best performed during the waning moon.
What to Do
- Set up the candle in the center of your workspace.
- Place the tiger’s eye around the candle.
- Place the needle and onion in front of the candle and stones.
- Cut the top off the onion.
- Put on the gloves and then push the needle into the center of the onion until it is no longer visible.
- Set the onion in front of the candle.
- Focus on the situation that has you feeling as though someone is keeping something from you. See the person involved clearly in your mind.
- Speak the following incantation as you charge the stones, candle, and onion with the intention of finding the truth.
Something is hidden in the dark and must be revealed. With each passing day, a layer of this hidden truth will be revealed. Though what I think is hidden may be different, I am willing to accept whatever truth comes my way. It may not be pleasant, but it is necessary to learn this truth.
- Peel the first layer of the onion off the outside of the onion. Visualize barriers to the truth being broken and removed as you do this.
- Light the candle and allow your intention to be released to the universe to help reveal the truth you seek.
- Each night at the same time, peel another layer of the onion off. Throw out the pieces you remove. Continue to visualize barriers removed and you getting closer to the truth.
- When you reach the needle, the truth will be revealed to you. Be prepared for the truth to be completely different from what you expected.
